Department: Catering

Job Title: Catering Bartender

Reports To: Catering Manager/Assistant Catering Manager

Position Purpose: Responsible for the set up and service of the bar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Set-up of bars at beginning of shift.
  2. Mix and serve drinks to order.
  3. Prepare drinks for waiter/waitress to serve to members and guests.
  4. Responsible for alerting supervisor to potential problems with underage drinking or a person’s over consumption of alcohol.
  5. Address members and guests with friendly and courteous attitudes at all times.
  6. Maintain bars cleanliness throughout function.
  7. Responsible for the safe return of all liquor, wine, beer, etc., to Liquor Room.
  8. Responsible for cleaning and break down of portable bars.
  9. Perform any and all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Work Experience Qualifications

Prior bartending experience in catering, hotel, or club is required.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends, evenings and holidays.
