Job Title: Catering Bartender
Reports To: Catering Manager/Assistant Catering Manager
Position Purpose: Responsible for the set up and service of the bar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up of bars at beginning of shift.
- Mix and serve drinks to order.
- Prepare drinks for waiter/waitress to serve to members and guests.
- Responsible for alerting supervisor to potential problems with underage drinking or a person’s over consumption of alcohol.
- Address members and guests with friendly and courteous attitudes at all times.
- Maintain bars cleanliness throughout function.
- Responsible for the safe return of all liquor, wine, beer, etc., to Liquor Room.
- Responsible for cleaning and break down of portable bars.
- Perform any and all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Work Experience Qualifications
Prior bartending experience in catering, hotel, or club is required.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends, evenings and holidays.
