Job Title: Bartender

Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager

Position Purpose: Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.

  1. Request additional supplies as necessary.
  2. Follows set-up procedures.
  3. Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
  4. Greets members and guest in a friendly manner.
  5. Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Food & Beverage Managers and Clubhouse Manager.
  6. Collects payment for drinks served.
  7. Reports complaints and concerns about intoxicated members and guests to a manager as soon as they occur.
  8. Maintains and cleans equipment.
  9. Maintains records of liquors, beer and wine to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
  10. Maintains daily and monthly inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand.
  11. Cleans and locks up as permitted by manager.
  12. Performs any and all tasks as assigned by manager.

Education and Work Experience Qualifications

Prior bartending experience in catering, hotel, or club is required.

Holidays, evenings, and weekends are required.
